The tiny dragon

Sometime around mid day Josh found a dragon on the ground. He put it in her pocket. The dragon was whining and growling until she got home.

The Josh ran straight upstairs to his bedroom and put the dragon in his drawer. Then Josh ran straight downstairs for dinner. After dinner Josh put the dragon in the drawer and put it to sleep but the problem was that it didn't want to it was struggling. Then Josh had an idea he went to the frige got a pice of meat went back upstairs and gave it to him. Finely he could go to Bed and have a rest.

Dependent and independent clauses

We have been learning all about independent and dependent clauses in complex sentences.

This complex sentence that I have written uses a dependent and independent clause. A dependent clause, needs extra detail so that it can complete the sentence, whereas an independent sentence could actually make a sentence on its own.

Here is my sentence: 

I have highlighted the dependent clause yellow and the independent clause red

As I entered the swimming pool, we listened to our instructions.

My tooth fell out last night

Last night my tooth came out and then I put it under my pillow. next I closed my eyes waiting for the tooth to turn into money. Sometime later I didn't feel my tooth there any more because it was money!  And I took it out of my pillow. then when I woke up I turned the light on there was 50c $1 10c 10c 10c 10c = 90c and 1dollar. 

Swimming

Yesterday it was my favorite day SWIMMING! We did swimming with boards I kicked my hardest. The pool was deep but luckily there was a island when I got to the net. I kicked all the way back kick, kick, kick until I got to the shallow bit.

It was fun making this movie it was fun when I got arrested by Deavay I liked making this movie it was AWSOME!!!!

Cyclone Lusi

There was howling winds and white capped waves all over New Zealand.  Relentless winds are making things slam into the beach. The gusts are smashing through trees and they are noisy and whistling.
