Eating healthy food is important because you need it to gain energy, have a healthy brain and feel happy. Healthy food is so important, if you don’t eat good food you might get sick.
Food gets crunched up by your saliva, tongue and teeth and then it goes down the oesophagus. Inside the stomach, the food is mixed with a liquid like acid. The liquid crunches the food up even more before it goes into the small intestines. Here, the food turns into a thin liquid. Then the food finally goes to the bloodstream to give you energy and strength.
Healthy choices are like eating good food (apples sandwiches and fruit.)and exercising every day. People should eat healthy food so they have enough energy for learning and living. When you make healthy choices you feel happy.
If you eat bad food your brain can’t learn, you don’t get much energy and you could feel tired or unhappy.
