Picnic Joshua

On friday Point england school went to the point the overcast  was a very sunny and a little cloudy day. We went near the beach to have a school picnic. We went there for a specal event for fun and a picnic of course.
I liked the saltwater swim I dived in (not really like i mean ran) and when it got over my pants………… i was cold it was SO cold that i emmiditly waddled out and then I ran back in like a maniac and i raced arthur to Mrs Nua.
My 2nd favoruite activity was making a sand castle i made a moat for a island for loads of shells so i could make  a castle with windows and a mud moat. Then a student from my mums class came and asked if he/she could play and i said ok i asked her/him to get some water but it just made more mud so we didnt do it then finally we were done.
i felt proud and salty and happy it was very fun to play at the beach. I thought i should make a jucusie next time and have a bath for days. mabye i should  jump in the water next time.

MOTAT

Class 12/11 went a step back in time to Motat on monday to see old machines and inventions. It was exciting going in the bus I talked to Bethan on the way. when we got there we had to pass a few old trains to get to the instructor. The instructor introduced herself to the whole class The instructors name was Katherine she was a girl and she was very nice. Then we introduced class 11/12.

Waiting patiently we went to the meeting room 2.0 because it was raining on the seats so we had to go inside instead. Katherine had to tell us all the important rules to keep safe so we wouldn't get squashed by trams/trains/cars. When we went to go to the upstairs we went to a classroom space thingymajig to learn about inventions like the plunger hat.

There were phones, typewriters, quills, chalk boards, toys and a match the old and new thing together that do the same thing. I liked the Tram Ride because we went past the zoo and there were clickity clackity everywhere. The tram ride rocked gently it was very wiggly i liked the tram ride alot.

I also liked the game zone because it was like an arcade. The game zone even had a rumbling elevator I liked that alot it made me almost vomit/throw up. I also liked the static electricity globe I liked that because it had a blue bolt going up and if you put your hand on it the bolt will bend over to where you put your hand. 

I felt more smarter and more happy going to MOTAT I will miss MOTAT so much.( exept the mirror maze :/ )

Joshua Cookie Faces

The picnic was cancelled because there was a few showers and dark clouds. i was very disappointed because we were going to make sand castles and draw things on the sand with sticks. I was excited to make face biscuits it i needed icing and m&ms. my mouth was drizzling with drool. I was waiting for the cookie making to commence. I decorated the cookie as a m&m cookie cake. it was going to have black m&m candles and icing underneath it. i got gooey fingers and the classroom was a TERRIBLE mess. My cookie was Delicomondo++ it was melting in my mouth and it was crunchy.It was a very good and tasty cookie. I felt proud and happy for making my cookie face.

Sitting on the cold concrete floor, in no time at all I got all the pieces I needed for my pirate ship.   I plan to have a raft for the bottom of my pirate ship and a stick in the middle with a wooden flag flying with a skull.  Feeling excited, I quickly got all the tools I needed to make my boat. First I drew a line on the wood so Mr Barks could saw my pieces into the right shape. Finally, I used a pencil and a metal ruler with concentration to carefully measure my piece of wood.
