SLJ: Day 12 Activity 1 2 And Bonus

If I was the prime minister I would make the laws like this.
  1. Candy Is Always For Breakfast
  2. No Brushing Teeth Unless Its An Emergancy
  3. You Get 100$ a day

Barrack Obama has lots of facts about himself.
  1. He likes to read harry potter
  2. He has a youtube channel
  3. An inspirational quote from Barack Obama; "If you're walking down the right path and you're willing to keep walking, eventually you'll make progress"

I Would Not Like to be president because it would be too much work for me to do.

  1. Hi Joshua!

I had to smile when I read your three laws. I, too, love to eat candy so I would definitely support that law change. If I could, I would eat liquorice every day for breakfast. I might also try some watermelon slices, fuzzy peaches or hot lips. They are all really popular Canadian/American candies that I haven't managed to find anywhere in New Zealand. It's probably a good thing as I would eat way too many of them if they were available in the stores here!

I suppose that we might have to think carefully about your second rule if we ate candy for breakfast. I think that we might need to brush our teeth every day in order to avoid getting cavities. I am not a fan of tooth brushing, either, but I try to do it every day in order to keep my teeth healthy and strong!

Having said that, I hope that you have enjoyed some treats this holiday period. I can't believe that the summer break is coming to an end. Are you looking forward to school starting again? I hope so! I think that Barrack's inspirational quote: "If you're walking down the right path and you're willing to keep walking, eventually you'll make progress" could serve as good inspiration for you for this year. If you keep working hard and you keep trying, you will achieve great things!

Speaking of school and the summer break, I did just want to remind you that tomorrow (26 January) is the last day of our summer blogging programme. You have done so well.

Huge congratulations on completing the activities for each and every day. It is amazing!!!

    Cheers,
    Rachel
